教学过程:
Step1:Lead-in
Guessing food
Teacher describe Yunnan rice noodles.
Have Ss guess what this food is.
Show the picture of Yunnan rice noodles.
Have Ss think and talk about the ingredients and steps of making Yunnan rice noodles.
Step2:Pre-writing
Complete 3a
Have Ss read 3a and fill in the blanks with the words in 3a.
Check answers.
Tell Ss they are going to write a small paragraph of a recipe of their favorite food like the passage in 3a.
Step3:While-writing
Have Ss think and choose a kind of food as their favorite food.
Have Ss think about the ingredients they may need to make this food, and write the ingredients in 3b.
Techer can model on the blackboard.
Have Ss write a recipe for their favorite food according to the passage in 3a.
Have Ss use sequence words: first, next, then, finally.
Step4: Post-writing:
Self-check/Peer check
When finish writing, have Ss self-check/peer check their work. (Grammar errors, spelling, punctuation…)
Revise
Have Ss correct the errors.
Share
Invite some Ss share their food recipe for the whole class.
Step5:Summary
Have students summarize what they learned today. Teacher ask some questions: how to make Yunnan rice noodles? Then, elicit the emotional attitude of this class.
Setp5: Homework
Try to make your favorite food at home according to the recipe they write.
